During this afternoon event, Microsofthas introduced several products, as a new desktop PC (Surface Studio), a new laptop (Surface Book) or a new version of Windows 10 (Creators Update).
In addition, there is a new product that has particularly caught our attention: new headset viewers for Virtual Reality on Windows 10, with a starting price of $299.
For now we know not much info about them, but Microsoft has announced that these viewers will come from the hand of some manufacturers like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus or Acer and that they don't use any kind of external sensors as HTC Vive or Oculus Rift do (hence its lower starting price), although each one has its own characteristics.
Coming in 2017, these accessories will contain built-in sensors to enable inside-out, six-degrees of freedom for simplified set-up and to more easily move around your home as you experience virtual worlds.
Nor do we know anything about any control pads or real purpose beyond the use in the new Windows 10, so we can let fly our imagination... Can we finally control everything with just our hands? It's possible that every viewer will have its own features and addons, being there where we find the prices differences.
Apparently this headsets would be different from Hololens (100% mixed reality), but they could share some features. We don't know the availavility date, but considering that serán compatibles con la actualización «Creators Update» de Windows 10we don't expect to see them until 2017.
